Wonderworks Communications launches Drinks Industry Mentoring Programme for Women
Leading female-founded drinks marketing agency Wonderworks Communications want to pay-it-forward as they launch a new mentoring programme named Wonder Women. Founders Sarah Wildman-King and Miranda Hart have between them 35 years of experience working in the drinks industry; it’s an industry they are both passionate about. They also recognise that it can still be a male-dominated industry and therefore intimidating and challenging for women starting out in their career. The aim of Wonder Women is to offer support, encouragement and guidance to women who work or want to work within the drinks business.
The twelve week mentoring programme will be offered to one woman per 12-weeks and they will be assigned either Sarah or Miranda as their mentor and will also meet with other members of the Wonderworks team and their wide and talented network of industry contacts, depending on their interests and focus.
Support will include a bi-weekly meeting which will be a safe and supportive space to ask questions, discuss ideas and challenges. The mentor from Wonderworks will offer insights and expertise as well as help with goal-setting and career planning.
