Mathieu Teisseire is the original French syrup. Having held the position of global market leader for over 100 years, it was now little-known outside France. We developed a communications, sales and activation strategy for the on-trade market that put Mathieu Teisseire back on the map.

The Challenge

Return Mathieu Teisseire to its former glory by changing outdated perceptions of the brand and dramatically increasing its global market share.


THE Insight

This was an opportunity to reinvent syrup in the eyes of the on-trade customer. We recognised the need for diverse flavour, natural ingredients, bespoke experience and Instagramable serves in outlets. This was a unique opportunity to leverage Mathieu Teisseire’s real fruit recipe, unique production process and portfolio of flavour.

The APPROACH

We developed a communication platform that celebrated Mathieu Teisseire’s True Flavour. Our key launch materials included spectacular visuals, videos and print. All brought the intense real-fruit flavour, diversity and innovative portfolio to life and drove reappraisal amongst bartenders and baristas. Our toolkit continues to be used to sell-in the brand at trade shows and bartender activations globally.


THE WONDER

The new brand has been successfully rolled out across global markets and celebrated at the leading trade event Bar Convent Berlin. We are now moving into developing brand activations to accelerate growth across global markets, finding its place behind some of the most prestigious and exciting venues around in the world.
