Two American originals entering the world of motor sport racing was always going to make noise. With Jim Beam joining forces with the Cadillac F1 Team, the challenge was bringing that partnership to life at race pace.

The Challenge

Uniting Two Distinct Worlds

Wonderworks partnered with the Jim Beam Global team to help bring the sponsorship to life, kicking off the season in Australia and rolling out across key markets including China, Japan and Miami.  

The challenge was clear, create a scalable visual look and feel that captured the energy of race day whilst maintaining its unmistakably Jim Beam character.

The APPROACH

Balancing Speed with Heritage

World class motor racing is built on speed, precision and intensity. Jim Beam has its own instantly recognisable personality and heritage. Our creative challenge was finding the point where those worlds unite. We developed a flexible visual language that balanced the adrenaline of racing culture with the bold personality of the Jim Beam brand.  

 
 
 
 

THE SOLUTION

Bringing the Story to Life

The illustration from the key visual was created using a woodcut style, that aligns with the Jim Beam masterbrand. Using the Sun Gold, limestone and charcoal to connect the two brands colour systems. 

That visual foundation became the engine for a wider global activation toolkit designed for real-world implementation across markets. From on and off-trade POS, to merchandise for use at activations and events during race season, every element was created to work hard at race day and beyond.  

A major focus for the project was scalability. Wonderworks developed practical, premium activations that local markets could bring to life and execute with ease. By combining our deep knowledge of the Jim Beam brand with our understanding of commercial realities we were able to move quickly and deliver market-ready creative with confidence.

Seeing the work launch at the Australian Grand Prix before rolling out into additional markets was a proud moment for everyone involved. High energy environments demand programs to match, and the work delivered exactly that.
