Job Description: Account Executive

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive with a positive attitude. Our philosophy is that our tightknit team is capable of huge things; we define the wonder in every brief and then find the specialists to bring that to life for our clients. As part of the team you will be a key driver in bringing moments of wonder to everything that we do.

This is a key role within the business.  You will be instrumental in supporting the team in the management and delivery of creative projects which reflect the Wonderworks vision and standards. The structure of our agency means that this is a demanding role with responsibilities beyond the day-to-day deliverables you are set . You will be keen to take ownership of your work, building strong and trusting relationships with your team and taking pride in representing the agency externally. This role has strong career growth and development potential – so the more you put in, the more you’ll get out!

With a keen interest in premium drinks – spirits, wines, beers, softs, mixers, non-alc - brands you will be responsible for helping the wider team in delivering beautifully crafted, premium, well designed communication materials including campaign key visuals, moving image, photoshoots, events, global toolkits, brand positioning platforms, education programmes, sales tools and digital assets amongst others.

You will report into the Account Director leading on the portfolio of brands and act as their day to day right-hand person in the execution of projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Account Director in day-to-day client management.

  • Producing client-facing documents, including contact reports, competitor audits, timing plans, cost estimates, status reports, budget reconciliations etc.

  • Internal agency weekly reporting: update the weekly team status sheet, generate weekly status reports on key clients.  Be the most informed person on the account knowing the next steps, key meetings and requirements on the job.

  • Owning specific tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office: weekly order of office & stationary supplies (under approval), ensuring printers full of paper, ensuring daily there is milk, tea, coffee, toilet roll….. the essentials!

  • Helping out team members where needed – whether this be for research or at an event

  • Build trust and the confidence of clients delivering consistently and with flair and diligence


  • At least 1 years agency experience

  • Graduate or equivalent, just starting out on your career, or looking for a change

  • Marketing/Business degree or equivalent

  • Good eye for design, creative imagination, well organised with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining high standards

  • Strong attention to detail


  • Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience

  • 3 month probationary period, 6 weeks notice period

  • Holiday allowance: 24 days [includes 3 x days for Christmas]
